Informal Consultations on the Annual Global Stocktake (GST) Dialogue

Intervention delivered by ICSC Manager for Climate Policy Juan Miguel Torres in the informal consultations on the annual Global Stocktake (GST) dialogues organized by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) on April 30, 2025. ICSC is also a member of the Research and Independent Non-Government Organizations (RINGO) constituency of the UNFCCC. In March 2024, the organization published a report on opportunities for multilateralism in Southeast Asia after the first GST, emphasizing how non-Party stakeholders, such as civil society organizations, are active partners in climate action.
